No Power Out today, did some figure drawing with some old friends in the Bronx.
Nice to draw a wrinkly face after spending so much time drawing these perfectly tight skinned teenagers! There is also something deeply satisfying about making a person who is not by conventional wisdom attractive a work of art - reminds you it's all in the way you look at things.
Anyhow, a host of very exciting distractions, from elections to video game controllers shaped like guitars and everything in between have taken the wheels off the Nathan-bus' momentum. Anyone who knows me knows my patented way to get back on track - obsessive hour-based planning!

8:30 - 10:00 - finish mini-roughs
10:00 -10:15 - break, dishes, water
10:15 - 12:30 - roughs first round
12:30 - 1:00 - snack (raisins / peanuts)
1:00 - 2:30 - roughs second round
2:30 - 3:15 - lunch (egg bagel sandwich, chips, tea), call Grant about book
3:15 - 5:00 - coffee shop midtown, new mini roughs
5:00 - 7:00 - meet Karasik at Handley's, get food
7:00 - 9:00 - coffee shop round II, finish next round of mini roughs
